2024 Fall HYA Soccer Program

• Registration opens on Wednesday, May 1st and will close on Friday, July 26th. The reason for this is so that there is enough time for the organizers to get all the teams set up before the season begins. There will be a $25 late fee for players who are signed up after the deadline.
• There will be a 4-5 year old (coed) division, a 6-7 year old division (boys and girls are separated), and an 8-9 year old division (boys and girls separated). However, divisions are subject to change based on the number of players signed up at each age group as well as the number of coaches we have for each division.
• The season will begin on Monday, August 19th and end on Saturday, October 26th.
• Teams in the 6-7 year old and the 8-9 year old divisions will be scheduled for 10 weeks of practices and 8 weeks of games. The cost will be $150 for the season.
• Teams in the 4-5 year old division will be scheduled for 10 weeks of practices with either 1 or 2 scheduled Play-Days. The cost will be $125 for the season
• Anyone who volunteers to coach (head coach or assistant coach) will be allowed to have their kids play for free.
• Practices nights will be Mondays through Thursdays and games will be on Saturday mornings. Locations are TBD. Practices will begin no earlier than 5:30 pm.
• Players can make special requests at the time of their registration or up until July 26th and all efforts will be made to honor those requests. After July 26th, special requests will be more difficult to honor. Examples of common requests would be practices on a certain night (or identifying particular nights that do not work), requesting a specific coach, requesting a specific teammate, or requesting to play up an age-level.
• Please consider volunteering to help coach a team. The league works best when we have enough teams to keep the number of players on a team low and when we have enough coaches to have at least 2 coaches per team. We will do our best to help and support you and make it as easy as possible for you to have a good experience coaching your team! • If coaching isn't for you but you would like to help out, we could use a few volunteers to help with several administrative duties. Again, please reach out if you are interested in this.
