Spring Intramural Baseball - 2026

Registration: November 28, 2025 through February 22, 2026 for all intramural ages and levels. The HYA Intramural baseball program is for kids in the Hempfield School District (Lancaster, PA)

Ponies: Ages 4-6 (Tee-Ball/Coach Pitch): Birthdates from 5/1/2019 through 4/30/2022 (Recommended for first year players)

Minors: Ages 6-8 (Coach Pitch): Birthdates from 5/1/2017 through 4/30/2020

Majors: Ages 7-10 (Kid Pitch): Birthdates from 5/1/2015 through 4/30/2019

Time Commitments & Equipment Expectations:

Pony - 1 Practice/Week (Weekday - 1 Hour), 1 Game/Week (Saturday AM - 1 Hour) - All activities will be at Hempfield Fire Department (19 W. Main St, Salunga, PA 17538)

Minor - 2 Practice/Week (Weekday - 1.5 Hour/Per), 1 Game/Week (Saturday AM /PM - 1.5 Hour) - All activities will be at Centerville Middle School (865 Centerville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601)

Major - 2 Practice/Week (Weekday - 1.5 Hour/Per), 1 Game/Week (Saturday AM/PM - 1.5 Hour) - All activities will be at Centerville Middle School (865 Centerville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601

Equipment Expectations:

Pony - Glove, cleats, water bottle needed, bat/helmets provided

Minor - Glove, cleats, water bottle needed, bat/helmets provided

Major - Glove, cleats, water bottle needed, bat/helmets provided

Other Notes:

Special Requests (Pony/Minor) - Please limit to 1 special request for Ponies and Minors (Teammate/Coach, Night of the Week, Etc)

Special Requests (Majors) - There are no special requests for teammates, teams are completed via draft by coaches after evaluations. The concept is to evaluate players, and create equitable teams based on skill to enhance the competition levels. (Majors Player evaluation will occur on Sat March 14th at Spooky Nook).

Mandatory Fund-raising Obligations: PLEASE READ: New Fundraiser for 2026 – Cash Raffle

This year, HYA is replacing the annual lottery calendar fundraiser with a new cash raffle. Each player pays a $50 fundraising fee at the time of registration, which covers the cost of five raffle tickets. Families may sell these tickets to friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers, etc. Any money collected through ticket sales is yours to retain.
Players will receive their raffle tickets in March/April after registration closes.
Raffle will take place on June 20, 2026.
Multiple Cash prizes available - with the grand prize up to $1,000!
