• Ponies – Ages 5-7 Born on or after May 1, 2017 and no later than April 30, 2020
• The pony level is tee-ball, and is to serve as an introduction to baseball. It is generally for 1^st year players

• Minors – Ages 6-8 Born on or after May 1, 2016 and no later than April 30, 2018
• The minors are generally for 1^st or 2^nd year players, and is coach pitch baseball. Players who have played a combined total of 2 years at the pony and/or minor level, with at least one year at the minor level, are encouraged to register for our Majors program.

• Majors – Ages 7-10 Born on or after May 1, 2014 and no later than April 30, 2017
• The majors are for all players with birthdates between May 1, 2014 and April 30, 2016. Players born during the time frame in the previous sentence with a strong interest in baseball are encouraged to register for the travel baseball program. Players born from May 1, 2016 through April 30, 2017 who show a strong interest in baseball and have played at least one season in our Majors intramural program are encouraged to consider participating in the travel program.
• Players born after May 1, 2014 and before May 1, 2015 should strongly consider registering for travel baseball as this will be their last year of eligibility at the 10u level. If your child plays their last year of 10u eligibility at the intramural level they will be required to jump directly to the 12u travel baseball level if they desire to continue playing baseball in the future. 

Fall Softball Program Description

• 8U Level: Weekly practices with games on Saturdays or Sundays against other 8U HYA teams. Goal is to form at least 2 teams.
• Practice Shirts: Provided with random numbers. Please provide shirt size and specify youth or intermediate sock sizes.
• Team Placement: Based on available coaches, coach requests, and number of registrations.
• Discount: $25 discount for additional participants.

• The fall softball season is managed by the Susquehanna Valley Umpires Association.
• Practices are held twice a week.
• Games are double-header 90-minute matches on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons, depending on field availability.
• Games are played against other associations in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

Age Determination Date Change

1. New Age Determination Date: Players' ages will now be determined based on their age as of August 31st instead of January 1st.
2. Impact on Players Born September - December:

• For players born between September and December, their age for the upcoming fall 2023 and spring 2024 seasons will be the same as it was this year.
• This means players born between September and December may either stay with their current age group or move up.
