10U Travel Baseball

10U - 

  1. Players must have been born on or after 5/1/2013 and no later than 4/30/2016
  2. There are no guarantees your son will make a team at the 10U level during the spring season. Your son will be automatically placed in the intramural Major's program if not selected for a 10U team. A refund will be issued for the difference between the travel and intramural fee if a player does not make the 10U travel team. Fall teams are determined based on the number of registrants, and we do not have tryouts. We attempt to place players based on experience and where they played in the spring.
  3. Teams in this program will generally practice multiple times per week throughout the season. Number of practices will be determined by the respective coaches.
  4. There will generally be one or two games per week during the spring season. Games are generally played during the week, but make-up games may be played on the weekends.  Fall games are played on Saturdays or Sundays, and are double headers with 3 hour time limits. 
  5. Game are played against other Lancaster County teams.
  6. Home games will generally be played at Farmdale Elementary, Rohrerstown Elementary, or Wayside Church.
  7. Little League approved bats, USSSA bats, and/or USA Baseball standard bats are allowed. Please visit www.lancoyouthbaseball.org for banned bat list.
  8. 2024 Post Season Playoffs will be held in late June 2024 and early July for eligible Section 1,2 teams. (Spring Only)
  9. Each level generally has at least one Section 1 and Section 2 team.

Mandatory Fund-raising Obligations (Spring Season ONLY): 
As in past years, we will again be offering two (2) options for fulfilling your mandatory fundraising obligation. Please note each player MUST fulfill his obligations, up to a maximum of 2 players per family. EX: A family with three (3) players need only fulfill fundraising obligations for two (2) players. Fundraising obligations may be satisfied by selecting one of the following options (per player):

  1. Sell at least five (5) lottery calendars per player. NOTE: You can request additional lottery calendars for sale in groups of five (5). . PLEASE NOTE HYA WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF UNSOLD LOTTERY CALENDARS. This applies also to booklets of extra calendars, if requested by the player, OR
  2. Pay a $40 opt-out fee during registration. If you do not pay this fee, you will be given lottery calendars to sell.
